Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Technical Application Scientist II to join our Life Sciences Solutions Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support for our Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) products and workflows, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to customers and field personnel, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues related to NGS products and workflows.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work closely with Clinical Application Scientists and Field Application Scientists to ensure effective support for Ion and Oncomine Assays, and contribute to the development of knowledge databases and technical resources.
- Customer Projects and Training: Collaborate with customers on projects, providing technical expertise and clinical insights to enhance the implementation and utilization of our NGS platforms, and participate in frequent training on products and continuing education on new applications and technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Accurately record customer interactions and feedback, and assist in the development of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our technical support and knowledge management processes.
This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite in one of our locations. No relocation assistance will be provided.
