We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at i2L Research Spain. As a Project Manager - Crop and Biocide Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing and executing field and laboratory tests, ensuring the highest scientific standards and compliance with international regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Test Design and Implementation: Design and conduct tests in both field and laboratory settings according to international guidelines (OECD, EPPO, BPR, and others).
- Test Execution: Implement tests initially in our facilities, with the potential to scale to real-world situations in crop fields or pest-infested premises.
- Scientific Integrity and Compliance: Ensure the scientific integrity, timely delivery, and financial success of contracted studies, while maintaining compliance with GEP/GLP standards and Health & Safety regulations.
- Team Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor team members according to their respective roles in various study types.
- Client Communication: Communicate effectively with international clients and subcontractors.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BSc) required; MSc or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, or Agronomy preferred.
- Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of the biology and breeding of arthropods and molluscs is advantageous. Phytosanitary and/or biocide applicator certification is desirable. Understanding of the agricultural and livestock sectors.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation. Highly organized and flexible with work assignments and schedules.
