About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Engineering Operations Technician. As a key member of our Data Center Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers and supporting the delivery of our cloud infrastructure services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilities Maintenance and Operations: Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the data center, ensuring that it operates at optimal levels and meets the required uptime standards.
  2. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot all data center systems, including incidents, events, problems, changes, and monitoring, to ensure that issues are identified and resolved promptly.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other teams, including software, hardware, and network engineers, to ensure that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our data center operations.
Requirements
  1. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems through root-cause elimination and analytical thinking.
  2. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of data center operations, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
  3. Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
