Engage in the realm of continuous delivery utilizing tools such as Jenkins. Sharpen your development skills by tackling challenging problems. Participate in code reviews via BitBucket and ensure code quality with SonarQube and LINT. Manage the evolution of your applications through JIRA for effective development planning and project management. Monitor your application's health using logs and metrics, ELK, and Grafana.

Our future direction involves enhancing product operations. We aim to transition our platform infrastructure towards CaaS (Container as a Service) utilizing K8s, while establishing a DevOps model. If you are keen to explore cloud technologies or already possess experience with containers, pipelines, and cloud operations, you will be a great fit. A willingness to learn is also appreciated. Your typical activities may include:

  • Collaborating with the development and UX teams, commercial product managers, and product owners to define and implement new features.
  • Coordinating the technical implementation with relevant component owners and providing effort estimates.
  • Writing high-quality code and conducting code reviews for fellow engineers.
  • Implementing, testing, and showcasing new product features within an agile framework.
  • Developing comprehensive functionalities that encompass both backend and frontend.
  • Creating new microservices or migrating existing services to operate on a cloud infrastructure.
  • Focusing on usability, performance enhancements, and quality assurance, including bug fixes and test automation.
  • Identifying potential security vulnerabilities and addressing them proactively.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Proficiency in Java development with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with popular Java libraries and frameworks such as JPA, Spring, and Kafka.
  • A degree in computer science or a comparable background, or sufficient professional experience to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, goal-oriented approach, and a commitment to quality while remaining agile.
  • A comprehensive understanding of all layers in software development, including REST APIs and their integration into our products.
  • Experience in Java server-side development and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Openness to adopting innovative technologies as required by the team.
  • Interest in building experience with cloud and DevOps infrastructure (such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Concourse, etc.).
  • Fluency in English.
