Engage in the realm of continuous delivery using tools such as Jenkins. Enhance your development expertise by tackling complex challenges. Participate in code reviews through BitBucket and ensure code quality with SonarQube and LINT. Manage the evolution of your applications with JIRA for development planning and project management, while monitoring application health through logs and metrics, ELK, and Grafana.

Our future direction involves advancing product operations. We aim to transition our platform infrastructure towards CaaS (Container as a Service) utilizing K8s, and establishing a DevOps model. If you are enthusiastic about cloud technologies or have experience with containers, pipelines, and cloud operations, you will find this role particularly rewarding. Key Responsibilities:

Your daily activities may include:

  • Collaborating with the development and UX teams, as well as product managers, to define and implement new features.
  • Coordinating with component owners to agree on technical implementations and estimate work efforts.
  • Writing high-quality code and conducting code reviews for peers.
  • Implementing, testing, and showcasing new product features within an agile framework.
  • Developing comprehensive functionalities that encompass both backend and frontend components.
  • Creating new microservices or migrating existing ones to operate on a cloud infrastructure.
  • Focusing on usability, performance enhancements, and quality assurance, including bug fixes and test automation.
  • Identifying potential security vulnerabilities and proactively addressing them.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Java development with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with popular Java libraries and frameworks such as JPA, Spring, and Kafka.
  • A degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and a goal-oriented approach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development layers, including REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of Java server-side development and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Willingness to adopt innovative technologies as required by the team.
  • Interest in building experience with cloud and DevOps infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).
  • Proficiency in English.
