Job Summary

As a Water Treatment Systems Engineer at Ecolab, you will play a key role in supporting the development of Total Water Management (TWM) opportunities. You will work closely with the Senior Design Engineer to provide project engineering support, developing mass balance and process flow sheets, preparing proposals and estimates, and providing technical and commercial support at client meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement water treatment systems that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their business drivers and develop solutions that meet their needs
  • Provide technical and commercial support at client meetings and presentations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in water treatment technologies
Requirements
  • Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design and sales of water and/or wastewater equipment and systems
  • Proven experience in project execution and commissioning of water treatment plants
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • Strong commercial mindset and financial acumen
  • Ability to work in a team and manage conflict and job-related pressure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Autocad proficiency
  • Experience with water treatment plant commissioning and start-up
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
