About the Role

Siemens Energy is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. This role presents an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hands-on mechanical tasks during the maintenance and installation of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with international teams to determine and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Document and report on maintenance activities and findings.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to customers and team members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working as a hands-on mechanical technician.
  • Specific experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators is highly valuable.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to read and understand technical drawings and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to read, understand, and work with complex engineering drawings.
  • Willingness to travel and work worldwide under a flexible working regime.
  • Preparedness to work for extended periods away from home.
  • Great teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong dedication to health, safety, and quality standards.
