Job Summary

We are seeking a Culinary Trainee to join our team at Ennismore, a leading lifestyle hospitality company. As a Culinary Trainee, you will assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes in accordance with our high standards.

You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service, learn and apply various cooking techniques, and support the team in monitoring stock levels and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and develop your skills in culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes in accordance with our standards
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Learn and apply various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and plating
  • Support the team in monitoring stock levels and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Participate in daily kitchen briefings to understand the menu and special requirements
  • Assist in the development and testing of new menu items
Requirements
  • EU Nationality
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages are a plus
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
  • Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary techniques
  • Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on delivering quality dishes
  • Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
