Mondrian Ibiza and Hyde Ibiza, two lifestyle hotel brands, are coming to Cala Llonga beach in Ibiza, offering a chance to work in a sleek wonderland and a festival-inspired food lovers paradise.

As a Culinary Trainee, you will assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes, working closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.

You will learn and apply various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and plating, while supporting the team in monitoring stock levels and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Participate in daily kitchen briefings to understand the menu and special requirements for each service, and assist in the development and testing of new menu items.

Gain hands-on experience with kitchen equipment, ensuring its correct and safe use, and learn to manage time efficiently during peak service hours while maintaining high food quality.

Support the team in understanding food cost control, portion sizes, and kitchen budget management.

Requirements:

• EU Nationality
• Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages are a plus
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
• Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary techniques
• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on delivering quality dishes
• Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
• Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a plus
