This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, high-quality theoretical instruction to aspiring pilots, playing a key role in enhancing the effectiveness of our training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Theoretical Lessons: Deliver engaging and clear instruction to students, ensuring they succeed in EASA ATPL subjects.
- Mentoring Students: Offer guidance and mentorship to students, supporting them through all phases of their courses, especially those facing challenges with internal final exams and CAA exams.
- Area 100 KSA: Instruct and assess students on Area 100 competencies, with a focus on key skills such as Mental Math.
- Assessing Student Performance: Conduct assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support students in their academic and professional growth.
- Monitoring Progress: Track and evaluate student progress, ensuring they meet their learning objectives and course requirements.
- Maintaining Records: Keep detailed and accurate records of student performance and progress throughout the training.
- Planning Course Phases: Collaborate with Ground and Flight School teams to organize and plan the various phases of student courses.
- Collaborating with Other TKIs: Work closely with fellow instructors to achieve high success rates for students in both internal and CAA exams.
- Reviewing and Revising Training Materials: Evaluate instructional materials, suggest improvements, and add relevant information where necessary.
- A degree or equivalent experience in aviation or a related field, with a comprehensive understanding of aviation theory, EASA regulations, and ATPL subjects.
- An EASA-approved instructor certification.
- Proven experience as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) or similar instructional role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software platforms, especially Moodle.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to engage and motivate a diverse range of students.
- Ability to adjust teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and student needs.
- A strong commitment to maintaining and promoting a culture of safety within the learning environment.
