About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Advisor to join our Medical Affairs team in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality scientific and clinical support to medico-marketing activities, building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, and managing clinical research projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Medical Director in carrying out day-to-day operational activities of the Medical Department.
  • Coordinate the Iberia Medical Team involved in Medical Affairs activities related to mature, new products, and new launches in Spain and Portugal.
  • Review and sign-off of promotional and non-promotional material to ensure compliance with Codes of Practice.
  • Provide input to Iberia Medical Director projects as agreed from time to time on a defined basis.
  • Work to ensure compliance in all Norgine Spain & Portugal procedures, including GxP, Codes of Practice, and medicines legislation.
  • Support medical affairs projects and activities in Spain & Portugal.
  • Maintain high standards of technical proficiency.
  • Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, patient organizations, and professional groups.
  • Coordinate with the other Iberia Medical team involved in Medical Affairs the Medical Plans.
  • Management of local Medical Affairs Team (Spain & Portugal).
Requirements
  • Medically qualified with a license to practice (Registered Physician) is preferred.
  • Medical Affairs experience, ideally in a relevant therapeutic area and including customer-facing experience.
  • Experience in Team Coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, ideally Portuguese as well.
  • Knowledge of local legislation guidelines (Spain) covering medical activities is preferable.
  • Training in applicable Codes of Practice.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work as Coordinator and member of the Iberia Management Team.
