Senior HSE Specialist

At SeaRenergy, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior HSE Specialist to join our team and support a critical offshore structures project. This position will play a pivotal role in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management during the engineering phase of the project, with a focus on preparing essential safety documentation such as safety studies, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Safety Documentation Leadership: Prepare and manage comprehensive safety documentation during the engineering phase, including safety studies, risk assessments, hazard analyses, and related reports.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee the execution of HSE-related tasks, ensuring that all activities are aligned with technical and safety requirements, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Safety by Design: Drive the safety by design initiatives, identifying innovative opportunities within the offshore wind industry and leading the development of HSE services that align with the company's goals.
  • Contract and Tender Support: Assist in preparing bids and proposals for HSE services, ensuring that all submissions are competitive, technically sound, and meet client requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Regularly report on team performance, project progress, and budget adherence. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of safety standards and processes.

Your Profile:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field, preferably in offshore, renewable energy, or safety engineering.
  • A further training as Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (m/w/d) (FaSi), Sicherheits- und Gesundheitskoordinator (m/w/d) (SiGeKo) , NEBOSH or similar.
  • Relevant experience in HSE advisory roles, particularly in offshore environments.
  • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in Europe and Germany.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and team-focused approach to work.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus.

Contract:

  • Contract Type: Project-related, minimum of 2 years.
  • Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
