The Green Recruitment Company has partnered with a leading Renewable Energy Developer to find an Investment Associate to join their team on a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, create, and analyze financial models to evaluate potential corporate development initiatives and assess their feasibility.
- Employ advanced cash flow modeling techniques to evaluate project finance opportunities.
- Assist in the evaluation of new investment opportunities from origination to full execution, ensuring thorough due diligence and risk assessment.
- Develop and update comprehensive PowerPoint presentations to support project development, investment decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
- Participate in due diligence processes to ensure accurate and thorough assessments of investment opportunities.
- Establish and maintain a network of contacts within the offshore wind energy sector to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities.
- 3-6 years of experience in renewable energy corporate finance and/or business development roles within an investment fund, advisory firm, or renewable energy IPP or Utility.
- Excellent financial modeling skills, with a focus on offshore wind energy.
- Experience in negotiating project financing, M&A transactions, power purchase agreements, and/or EPC contracts.
