About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Officer to join our team at Flowable. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our information security system and awareness across all departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive enterprise information security system compliant with ISO-27001 and ISO-9001.
  • Proactively improve the risk management system and business continuity management at group level, and support business units in their implementations.
  • Identify and manage security incidents together with IT, legal, and business departments, including short-term reactive and proactive measures, as well as strategic projects.
  • Lead and enhance the security awareness program in the organization.
  • Support business units in their inquiries, such as suppliers' security assessments and providing information on our security policies for customer requests or reviewing contracts and agreements from a security perspective.
  • Plan and realize internal audits, and ensure the smooth running of external audits to achieve certifications.
What You'll Accomplish in the First Year

Here's an overview of the key milestones you'll achieve in the first year:

After 3 Months
  • You'll have a deep understanding of the stakeholders in our organization and their role regarding information security.
  • You'll be familiar with the current implementation of ISO-27001 and 9001 in our organization, including its strengths and weaknesses.
  • You'll have a plan to improve the current Information Security system, making it easier to follow for all stakeholders.
  • You'll own and live the security incident process, and coordinate the mitigation and resolution of any security incidents.
After 6 Months
  • You'll have a defined plan to improve security awareness in the organization through various measures.
  • You'll have focused on an area to be improved, such as risk management, business continuity management, or supplier management, and conducted the necessary enhancements.
  • You'll have supported business units in their inquiries, either for their own processes or answering questions from potential customers during an RFP.
After 12 Months
  • You'll have conducted internal audits as part of continuous improvement and preparation for external audits.
  • You'll have defined, planned, and worked on action plans to address findings from certification processes, such as ISO, SOC2, TISAX, and ISAE 3402.
  • You'll have contributed to and planned the roadmap 2025 and beyond, with initiatives to improve our Information Security system.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking an analytical problem solver who is motivated by learning and working on practical and strategic topics. You should be able to build relationships with ease, influence stakeholders, set up guidelines, and train users.

Key requirements include:

  • Experience in a similar role with information security framework and associated certification, including risk management, business continuity management, etc.
  • Experience in at least one of the IS certifications, such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or TISAX.
  • Experience in security incident management and process implementation.
  • IT security understanding and experience to collaborate with the IT department.
  • Good communication skills, including reporting and consulting to C-levels, and influencing stakeholders across the organization.
  • Experience in ISO 9001 and GDPR is a plus.
  • English fluency is essential (at least C1 level).
