System Product Owner for Digital Identity

As a System Product Owner at Thales, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of our Digital Identity & Security solutions. With your expertise and passion for product management, you will work closely with our cross-functional Engineering Team to maximize the value of our products.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and Agile methodologies, with at least 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Product Owner. They will be responsible for defining the Product Goal, updating and communicating the Release Plan, and collaborating with the Product Manager to refine User Stories and set Sprint Goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the Product Goal based on the Product Manager's vision and communicate it to the developers
  • Update and communicate the Release Plan aligned to the latest Product Roadmap
  • Participate in planning the next Scrum sprint with refining and estimation sessions, setting the Sprint Goal as result
  • Review the outcome of the Sprint Goal to ensure that work delivered matches the specification agreed and the Product vision communicated
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mastery of Agile methodologies and experience working as a Scrum Product Owner
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development, including microservices and event-driven architectures, REST APIs, data modeling, and system design principles
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
