About the Job

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Elementary School teacher to join our team at Aquinas American School / Atlas American School of Málaga / TBSON. As an Elementary School teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the student's maturity and interests.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with children, families, students, and staff, including articulating the theoretical base of activities and curriculum.
  • Assess the accomplishments of students regularly and provide progress reports as required.
  • Assist administration in implementing all policies and/or rules governing student life and conduct, develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
  • Strives to maintain and improve professional competence.
  • Attends meetings and serves on departmental committees as required.
  • Strives to implement by instruction and action the school's philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives.
  • Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records of conferences and evaluations.
  • The Elementary School Principal may assign other duties.
  • Background check required.
  • Having an excellent command of English is an essential requirement for this position.
