Job Summary
Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead the manufacturing activities for a project(s) of an Elementary Production Unit (EPU). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all manufacturing activities, including the supervision of operators, training, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage manufacturing activities, including production planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Supervise and train operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Optimize industrial processes, including line balancing and workstation optimization
- Assign tasks to operators based on workload and priorities
- Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
- Engineering degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering)
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including welding, assembly, and quality control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
