About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design Engineer to join our Technology Exploration Unit in Granada, Spain. As an integral part of our Research and Development team, you will be responsible for developing innovative projects, planning features, and ensuring adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop key firmware and FPGA elements for Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) applications, including design validation, test benches, simulations, and evaluation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project partners and managers to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, personnel efforts, and comprehensive work plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software and FPGA designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with cutting-edge technologies and advancements in the field of Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (R-PNT) solutions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Excellent English proficiency (advanced Cambridge certificate or similar).
  • Knowledge in software engineering, embedded Linux, and Linux kernel drivers.
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGA tools (Vivado, Vitis, HLS), embedded software development, FPGA logic design (VHDL / Verilog).
  • Familiarity with Ethernet networking, data interfaces, and Xilinx architecture / platforms.
