About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Release Manager to lead our Release Management team and drive the growth and evolution of our Developer Productivity Engineering function.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the definition, prioritization, and management of the team's backlog, as well as providing a satisfying developer experience through optimized development processes, tools, practices, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Release Management team and drive the growth and evolution of our Developer Productivity Engineering function.

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the team's backlog to ensure efficient delivery of software products and updates.

  • Provide a satisfying developer experience through optimized development processes, tools, practices, and automation.

  • Manage Jenkins CI system used company-wide for both product/project-specific development.

  • Manage GitLAB hosting (Saas) used for code hosting and collaboration.

  • Manage the product release process.

  • Manage internal production and/or testing servers (Ubuntu LTS on AWS).

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications.

  • 1+ years of experience in a team lead position.

  • 5+ years of experience in release management and/or managing CI systems (preferably Jenkins).

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Ubuntu Linux or similar).

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Apache2, Git.

  • Experience with scripting (bash, python) is a plus.

  • Experience with Ansible is a plus.

  • Experience managing GitLab is a plus.

  • Experience with AWS Cloud is a plus.
