About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to lead our Release Management team and drive the growth and evolution of our Developer Productivity Engineering capabilities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the definition, prioritization, and management of the team's backlog, as well as providing a satisfying developer experience through optimized development processes, tools, practices, and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing product development internal tooling and technical processes
  • Managing Jenkins CI system used company-wide for both product/project-specific development
  • Managing the product release process
  • Managing GitLAB hosting (Saas) used for code hosting and collaboration
  • Managing the Issue tracker used for product development
  • Managing/running several internal production and/or testing servers (Ubuntu LTS on AWS)

Requirements include:

  • MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Telecommunications
  • 1+ years experience in team lead position
  • 5+ years experience in release management and/or managing CI systems (preferably Jenkins)
  • 5+ years experience in Linux System Administration (Ubuntu Linux or similar)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Apache2. Git
  • Experience with scripting (bash, python) is a plus
  • Experience with Ansible is a plus
  • Experience managing GitLab is a plus
  • Experience with AWS Cloud is a plus
