Job Description:
Ferrovial is seeking a Strategic Risk Management Leader to report to the Chief Risk and Audit Officer. The successful candidate will lead the development of industry-leading risk management strategies across the Group.
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The candidate will be expected to stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements, and to continuously improve Ferrovial's risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop risk management policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting on risk exposures
- Provide guidance and training to staff on risk-related matters
- Evaluate the severity of each risk by considering its consequences and conduct root cause analyses of risk events and incidents
- Develop risk management controls, systems, and KRIs
- Prepare risk management reports, recommendations, and presentations for senior leadership
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in a similar role, with excellent communication and analytical skills. They will be highly perceptive and methodical, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
