Job Title: Robotics Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Field Service Engineer to join our team at Universal Robots. As a key member of our global Services organization, you will be responsible for providing post-sales field service technical support for our unique and groundbreaking robotic products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers and partners in the field, ensuring high uptime performance on cobot/robot-based manufacturing cells.
  • Collaborate with equipment sales processes to drive point of sales (POS) service offers and drive automation through Sales Force to achieve high attack rates.
  • Train and coach Service Sales representatives, set targets, and support the team in delivering targets via collaboration with customers and multiple distribution partners.
  • Coordinate service delivery in the region with Field Service Engineers, Tech Support, remote Service team, and factory repair centers.
  • Lead business reviews with customers and partners in the region, develop and implement service maintenance service agreement (MSA) custom framework with all key channel partners, collaborating with equipment sales team across the region.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree or higher in a technical field or Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in robotics or the industrial automation industry.
  • Strong automation background, preferably 3 years of experience in Service Sales in the automation industry.
  • Precious field troubleshooting and repair experience (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial compliance and risk management.
