Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to join our team in the area of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability, developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies, and assisting corporate clients with their sustainability reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability, developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.
  • Assist corporate clients with their sustainability reporting requirements, including the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and applicable regulations on disclosure of non-financial information.
  • Manage or coordinate small or medium-sized projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects.
  • Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.
  • Supervise project teams and mentor junior personnel.
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline such as environmental management, sustainability, or climate change.
  • 6-8 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability-related services with deep knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (strategy and reporting).
  • At least 3 years of experience as a project manager.
  • Experience as a line manager or managing junior resources.
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems standards and IFC Environmental and Social performance standards, as well as sustainability reporting standards and regulations.
  • Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English languages is necessary.
