About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Gruppe. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and manage a team of software test engineers to ensure timely project completion and delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and schedules to meet project requirements.
Quality Assurance and Testing
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure software products meet required quality standards.
  • Identify, mitigate, and prevent security vulnerabilities within software systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
Process Improvement and Innovation
  • Develop and maintain robust automation testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with the development team to implement best practices in defensive engineering throughout the development and testing lifecycle.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and customers, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  1. Technical Expertise
  • Expert knowledge of software design and quality assurance standards, practices, and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Leadership and Management
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a software development or quality assurance environment.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
