About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement an annual procurement strategy for a small division or business unit, ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies.
  2. Direct the creation of annual procurement business plans and tactical plans, aligning with agreed sourcing strategies and divisional and group targets.
  3. Lead the identification of sourcing strategies, including preferred suppliers and outsourcing, and manage relationships with key internal clients and external suppliers.
  4. Negotiate agreements and establish contracts to reduce total cost with specified quality and service levels, ensuring supply security and tracking savings according to group guidelines.
  5. Implement and utilize procurement systems and tools in countries, ensuring consistent tracking of savings and other procurement KPIs.
  6. Provide thought leadership in identifying, implementing, and continuously improving sourcing best practices, systems, and processes.
  7. Develop and finalize procurement investment plans and budgets.
  8. Oversee the management and development of procurement teams.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience in procurement or a related field, preferably in commercial negotiation, sourcing management, category management, supplier management, or a related area, with a focus on the IT infrastructure domain. A university or advanced degree is required, and a master's degree or other advanced degree in IT or business administration is preferred. Advanced negotiation skills, strong project management and leadership experience, and senior stakeholder management are also required.
