Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in healthcare or pharmaceuticals to utilize their knowledge and experience in providing accurate and non-promotional information to customers and healthcare professionals.

About the Role
This is a full-time position based on a hybrid model, offering the perfect blend of flexibility and structure. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for handling customer queries, identifying and documenting adverse events or product quality complaints, and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge database. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to build strong partnerships and contribute to daily processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers and HCPs with product information
  • Handle customer queries by providing accurate and non-promotional information courteously and professionally
  • Identify queries containing adverse events or product quality complaints, and handle and document these under the appropriate operating procedures
  • Accurately record all medical and pharmaceutical communication transactions into the appropriate database following good documentation practices
  • Support the organisation with the maintenance of the knowledge database
  • Facilitate fulfilment of customers' requests
  • Escalate all enquiries without predefined answers according to defined processes
  • Utilise computer technology to handle high call volumes
  • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction
  • Integrate compliance into daily activities
  • Share the most effective methods and practices with colleagues to satisfy customer needs and provide input/feedback to continuously improve daily processes
  • Maintain and improve the company product and organisational knowledge
  • Identify and build strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders, relevant to responsibilities and area of expertise

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare or related fields, as well as work experience or education setting in health care, medical affairs, clinical development, and scientific or medical communications field to understand national health care systems and organisational hierarchies. A native level of Portuguese and a C1 level of English are also essential.

Salary & Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is €55,000 - €65,000 depending on experience. Bespoke Recruitment Limited offers a competitive benefits package, including relocation support, a fixed-term contract for 12 months with views of renewal, and a contingency contract option.
