Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive the design and development of our multi-sided smart kitchen platform. As a key member of our IoT team, you'll work closely with our Engineering Lead to architect and deploy secure, scalable, and efficient IoT platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a world-class platform that scales to support millions of users.
  • Architect and deploy secure IoT platforms, ensuring the highest level of security and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with the IoT team to bring KitchenOS to life, working seamlessly with firmware, databases, and APIs.
  • Lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver high-quality solutions that make a real impact.
  • Work closely with our Engineering Lead to drive innovation and growth, staying ahead of the curve in IoT and smart kitchen technology.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building highly scalable distributed systems for IoT.
  • 3+ years of experience architecting and deploying secure IoT platforms.
  • Fluency in Python and AWS services like IoT Core, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
  • Strong understanding of data platform architectures and ability to translate them into real-world applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative spirit, with a passion for mentoring and leading teams.
  • Problem-solving expert, with the ability to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex platform issues.
  • Hunger to learn, with a passion for staying ahead of the curve in IoT and smart kitchen technology.
