Job Description:

In this exciting role as a Process Engineer at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality of our products while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.

Yanfeng is a leading global automotive supplier with over 57,000 employees worldwide. We have 10 R&D centers dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for interiors, exteriors, seating, cockpit electronics, and passive safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will design and standardize processes to ensure product quality, personnel safety, and cost efficiency.
  • You will participate in launches and support the definition of layout, control plans, equipment reception, setup, and optimization.
  • You will define assembly standards and work content, including MTM, schedules, and operations balance sheets.
  • You will lead or participate in problem-solving using appropriate tools like 8D, KT, and 6S.
  • You will monitor and close non-conformities identified during audits.
  • You will promote continuous improvement of processes using lean tools.
  • You will support production in implementing standardized processes.
  • You will implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate problems.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Master's in Engineering
  • Own vehicle
  • Medium/High English proficiency
  • Possibility of daily travel to the Almussafes plant
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a process engineer
  • Valuable qualifications/training in Lean Manufacturing systems, problem-solving tools (8D), MTM, IOS, etc.
  • Focus on detail, collaboration, improvement, and continuous learning
