Job Summary

As a Sommelier at Six Senses Ibiza, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional wine service to our guests. This role requires a deep understanding of wine, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide personalized wine recommendations based on their preferences and food choices.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive wine list in collaboration with the Executive Chef, F&B Director, and Restaurant/Beverage Manager.
  • Train F&B Hosts on wine knowledge and service standards.
  • Ensure the prompt and efficient service of all beverages, adhering to resort standards.
  • Monitor and control outlet operational budget, maximizing profitability.
  • Inspect and maintain the wine cellar, ensuring it is fully stocked and well-organized.

Requirements
  • Sommelier Certification or equivalent experience in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create tasteful food and wine pairings.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus.
