Are you passionate about Cloud Infrastructure management and ready to leverage your leadership skills in the dynamic renewable energy industry?

DNV is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Manager to lead our team of IT specialists and oversee the optimal performance of our cloud infrastructure.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing short and long-term strategic plans to ensure cloud infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.

You will lead a talented team of 11 IT specialists and oversee the optimal performance of the cloud infrastructure of our solutions designed for monitoring and managing renewable energy assets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating, inspiring, and developing the Cloud Infrastructure team to reach their full potential, fostering a positive and productive environment
  • Designing and implementing short and long-term strategic plans to ensure cloud infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
  • Setting goals, allocating tasks and resources, and managing the performance of team members
  • Driving and ensuring the efficiency, availability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure
  • Managing and preparing budget for IT-Cloud related expenses, including purchasing and staffing
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud infrastructure issues
  • Engaging in customer interactions for scaled cloud infrastructure issues, providing expert solutions and guidance
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative connections with other IT teams and cross-functional teams across the organization

You will join the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity department, a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the reliable and secure operation of our cutting-edge GPM products and maintaining the robustness and scalability of the IT infrastructure, ultimately enhancing efficiency.

We work together to design and manage a scalable and dynamic infrastructure that seamlessly integrates both on-site and cloud solutions, embracing the latest technological advancements.

Which skills to bring?

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of technical experience in Cloud Infrastructure
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, leading distributed teams, allocating tasks and resources, managing performance, and people development
  • Proven track record in Kubernetes (k8s) - with deep understanding of networks, operating systems, database management, and data flow systems
  • Ability to manage customer interactions and complex infrastructure issues
  • Proficiency in English is required; Spanish language skills are a plus
