Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Data Engineer to join our team at the Computational Social Science and Humanities Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the work of our researchers, working closely with our research units to develop and implement innovative solutions for social science research.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the computational analysis of social behavior, behavioral economics, and psychology, utilizing advanced data analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Develop and implement AI/ML methods to access and analyze multi-modal social science data from national statistics, public administration, and private sector sources.
- Contribute to the development of statistical tools to analyze sensitive data, ensuring the preservation of privacy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with our Computer Science and Operations departments to develop tools and solutions that advance research in computational social sciences and humanities.
- Provide support in adopting researchers' code to High Performance Computing environments.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or equivalent.
