We are seeking a highly skilled Swedish Language Test Analyst to join our team at Welocalize, Inc.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS, executing test cases and scripts to ensure localization accuracy, identifying and reporting bugs using our internal bug-tracking system, and verifying fixes once implemented.

This is a fully remote, part-time position with a fixed-term contract (with the possibility of extension). The schedule is 20 hours per week, with shifts of 4 hours per day (to be determined).

Responsibilities:

  • System Testing: Test web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Test Case Execution: Execute test cases and scripts to ensure localization accuracy
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, report, and track localization bugs using an internal bug tracking system
  • Fix Verification: Verify fixes and ensure linguistic and functional quality

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Native-level fluency in Swedish (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
  • English Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience: Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
