The Job

As a Senior Sales Operations Specialist, you will provide daily support to the Field Sales team via phone, email, and web channels. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Salesforce CRM, quoting, order processing, data, and contract management
  • Providing quality assurance support for sales processes and tools
  • Creating training content to support sales processes and tools
  • Developing business acumen by working with Field Sales to understand how they utilize systems to solve business challenges
  • Collaborating with various Aveva departments to deliver and improve service to Account Managers
  • Helping define and maintain sales processes and data governance

You will also have opportunities to grow your technical skills by developing a solid foundation in Salesforce, including CPQ, sales methodologies, sales business intelligence, and content management systems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An undergraduate degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales operations role
  • Experience with software quotes and orders, preferably with subscription products
  • CRM and sales enablement tools, especially Salesforce CRM and CPQ
  • Experience within a technology/software company preferred
About You

We are looking for a professional who can demonstrate strong execution focus, ability to manage ambiguity, and ability to manage diverse stakeholders through influence. You will work closely with Direct and Renewal Sales Teams, Business Operations teams, Marketing, Contract Management, and Commercial Operations.

Average salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
