Egg Production Assistant Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Egg Production Assistant Manager to assist in the coordination of waste products from Rose Acre layer and pullet facilities.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join our team at Rose Acre Farms as an Egg Production Assistant Manager. As an assistant manager, you will be responsible for coordinating waste products from all centrally owned Rose Acre layer and pullet facilities to the site. You will also be responsible for relaying information from the transport department to the Rose Acre Farm's drivers on when and where they are to deliver the waste products.

The ideal candidate will have relevant knowledge of transport department operations, general office experience, and the role a dispatcher plays in an agricultural production facility. They will be capable of performing miscellaneous computer programs such as MS Word and MS Excel, with knowledge of PC Miler and other software programs used in the transport departments.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate waste products from Rose Acre layer and pullet facilities to the site.
• Relay information from the transport department to the Rose Acre Farm's drivers.
• Assist the manager in troubleshooting issues within the department.
• Perform special assignments as given by the complex manager or a Rose Acre Vice-President.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required.
• Relevant knowledge of transport department operations and general office experience.
• Capable of performing miscellaneous computer programs such as MS Word and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of PC Miler and other software programs used in the transport departments.
• Competent and professional communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and deal with stressful situations.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, and other environment specific atmospheres.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum based on location and experience.
