Operations Assistant Director Rose Acre Farms

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Operations Assistant Director to join our team at Rose Acre Farms. As an essential member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks and activities.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.

• Assist in coordinating transportation of waste products from Rose Acre layer and pullet facilities to the site.
• Communicate with transport department to relay information to drivers on delivery schedules and locations.
• Support the manager in troubleshooting issues within the department.
• Complete special assignments as directed by the complex manager or Rose Acre Vice-President.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A high school diploma.
• Relevant knowledge of transport department operations and general office experience.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, and PC Miler.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Treat co-workers with respect and courtesy.

You will be working in an agricultural environment, which may involve varying temperatures and other environmental conditions. You must be willing to work past scheduled leave time if necessary.
