We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Kernel Quality Engineering - Hardware Enablement team in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest possible enterprise quality, performance, usability, and supportability of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain testing pipelines, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of our solutions.
- Analyze, report, and track defects, as well as verify features and bug fixes in the Linux kernel in relation to GPUs and other accelerators.
- Work closely with engineers to create test plans and test cases, and communicate the impact of bugs and issues to developers and support teams.
- Automate and execute test suites to ensure that supported hardware works correctly in existing and new versions of the Linux kernel.
- DevOps skills, including experience creating and deploying containers (Docker, podman).
- Sysadmin-level skills and background in Linux.
- Advanced skills in bash, git, GitLab/GitHub.
- Advanced programming language skills in Python and using Python testing libraries and testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of C.
- Experience creating GitLab/GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to read and modify existing code and code simple scripts/programs.
- Comfortable working in a remote and diverse environment, with peers in different timezones.
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field, or relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with GPUs (e.g. experience with CUDA, OneAPI, OpenVINO, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies).
- Familiarity with agile principles and tools (Jira, Confluence or similar technologies).
