SoftwareOne is a leading provider of software and cloud services, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Marketplace Platform Team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic QA Department, closely collaborating with Development, Product Management, Technical Support, and Customer Success teams.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring our Marketplace Platform meets the highest standards of quality as perceived by our clients.

Quality is a shared responsibility, and your contributions will ensure that everyone on the team is focused on delivering world-class products.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding business and product requirements, ensuring that engineering implementations strictly cover all necessary aspects.

You will design and develop robust testing frameworks, advanced test tools, and sophisticated automation for complex, distributed systems.

You will define and set stringent quality assurance metrics and thresholds, ensuring they are met throughout the development cycle.

You will complete ownership over functional and non-functional testing, including the creation of testing strategies and plans, management of test data, and reporting of results.

You will define, implement, and analyze additional metrics and reports to determine test effectiveness, overall software quality, and client perception.

What we need to see from you:

  • Extensive front-end and/or back-end programming experience in C# or Python, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Expertise in software (automation) development using object-oriented design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience in testing REST services.
  • Experience with automation test creation and maintenance using tools such as Playwright, Jest, Selenium, xUnit, NSubstitute, FluentAssertions, Autofixture C#, PyTest/PyTest-BDD, Nose2 etc.
  • Proven proficiency in web performance testing, load testing, and database/SQL testing.
