About the Role
Dow Jones is seeking a skilled Platform Editor to join its NewsPlus team in Barcelona, Spain.
Key Responsibilities
- Exercise exceptional news judgment to identify important financial news and prioritize content for publication.
- Uphold Dow Jones standards and ethics in all editorial decisions.
- Recognize and respond to the needs and expectations of Dow Jones's core audiences.
- Collaborate with reporters and editors from other groups to deliver high-quality content.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Stay proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced news environment.
Requirements
- A well-honed sense of urgency and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong written English and excellent news judgment skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and time while handling multiple responsibilities.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team.
