About the Role:


As a Credit Analyst with Fitch Ratings, you will play a vital role in maintaining and assigning ratings to structured finance transactions across various asset classes. Our European Structured Finance team is a dynamic and diverse group of professionals who work together to provide high-quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modeling to analyze transactions in line with Fitch's rating criteria.
  • Review transaction legal documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct on-site reviews of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators to assess credit risk.
  • Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
  • Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Communicate with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of transactions.
  • Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research.
