Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled RAMS Engineer to join our team at Thales Alenia Space. As a RAMS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety engineering expertise and analysis in the development and implementation of Space products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform RAMS design, analysis, modeling, and simulation to specify and verify that Space products meet customer requirements during their operational lifetime.
* Develop, maintain, and implement a Dependability and Safety programme plan for all project phases addressing RAMS requirements applicable to the project.
* Represent RAMS in technical meetings involving RAMS-related issues and participate in, influence, and approve design decisions impacting or potentially impacting RAMS.
* Evaluate the compliance of designs with RAMS engineering requirements by review of technical specifications, designs, and design changes for both hardware and software, and suggest design alternatives where appropriate to enhance reliability based on a knowledge of design feasibility and RAMS requirements.
Business Context:
To ensure the RAMS of products is maintained and to provide RAM designs that meet specifications and budgets. To work with others as a team member and enhance the image of RAMS Engineering within the company and with our customers.
Competences:
Experience on projects in the context of Safety and RAM assurance. Knowledge of design engineering, in particular electronic design. Competence on RAMS Analysis methods. A five-years experience in RAMS engineering is preferred.
