About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mindfulness Technician to join our team at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) for a part-time, temporary engagement in the EC funded RESONATE project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the co-creation of a mindful walking intervention in urban coastal settings.
  • Deliver group-guided sessions of mindful walking in an urban coastal area in Barcelona and/or metropolitan area.
  • Train junior technicians in delivering mindful walking sessions.
Requirements
  • Certified mindfulness and/or yoga teacher.
  • Experience of at least 10 years in providing mindfulness, yoga sessions to varied profiles of people.
  • Experience in designing sessions based on the pathological and biomechanical characteristics, seeking the integral balance of health and wellbeing.
  • Experience in holistic practice that takes into account the person's psycho-emotional state and different life stages.
  • Experience with people with chronic diseases, special needs, and other vulnerable populations.
Desirable Skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility.
  • Good level of Spanish and Catalan are required.
