Sustainable Aquaculture Expert

The Universidad de Alicante is seeking an experienced Sustainable Aquaculture Expert to collaborate with our research team in the 'Management for Sustainable Aquaculture' project.

This collaborative project, funded by the European Union through the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF), aims to develop sustainable aquaculture practices. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to implement sampling and analysis protocols, manage economic and administrative aspects of the project, draft reports, and create communication materials.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a technical degree in Administrative Management, Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, or equivalent. Experience in related tasks will be assessed, and proficiency in Catalan is required. Spanish nationality or specific residency criteria apply.

• Sampling and analysis in wet labs
• Economic and administrative management of the project
• Drafting reports
• Management of documentation and justification for the project
• Drafting of documentation and communication materials for the project

To be considered, applicants must hold a technical diploma or equivalent, have a C1 level of Catalan, possess the necessary physical and mental capacities, and meet specific age and residency requirements.

This part-time position (15 hours/week) comes with a competitive gross monthly salary of €504.47 plus two extra payments of the same amount as the monthly remuneration, or a proportional part for periods of less than one year.
