About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Expert to join our team at SAP. As a Development Expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a development architect and consultant in SAP projects.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients, continuously enhancing knowledge of SAP products.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and customer teams to design scalable solutions that meet client needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on SAP solutions.
  • Lead workshops, gather business requirements, and ensure technical solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of SAP BTP development solutions, from conceptual design through implementation.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Extensive experience with the core SAP development stack and standard web development technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP NetWeaver and SAP BTP platforms, including their business value, technical architecture, and services.
  • Proficiency in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) development; expertise in BTP extension technologies, such as Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), low-code/no-code platforms, and Workflow Management is highly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of HANA database features and experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with commonly used SAP BTP platform services like Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, and Connectivity.
  • Experience with automated software testing is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
  • Preferred certifications: SAP BTP extension and/or SAP ABAP development.
