The Role
We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and reporting efforts across the countries in which we operate. The ideal candidate will have a background in tax compliance and reporting within a public company setting, adhering to US GAAP standards and SOX controls. Reporting to the head of tax, you will oversee tax registration, filing, and closing processes while ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage global income tax reporting under US GAAP ASC740
- Develop and maintain tax closing processes
- Oversee tax registrations and filing processes
- Implement tax software solutions
- Support ad-hoc tax projects
- Provide guidance on tax compliance to various teams
- Collaborate with external consultants and auditors
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in tax compliance
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740
- Experience in a SOX controlled environment
- Knowledge of US international tax rules
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
