Overview
IT Solutions Specialist
The IT department at IE Business School is seeking a dedicated IT Solutions Specialist. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of IT Services and Project Management initiatives.
The selected candidate will be tasked with delivering optimal IT solutions and supporting various related projects. Furthermore, the IT Solutions Specialist will act as the primary point of contact between different departments, IT partners, and the key internal contact for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
Key Action Areas:
- Assessing the requirements of various Business Areas to identify and articulate technical solutions.
- Conducting analysis and resolving straightforward issues, while escalating more complex problems to the appropriate technical personnel.
- Coordinating testing phases and managing incident support for Business Areas.
- Collecting feedback from end users to facilitate continuous system enhancements.
- Collaborating with developers to design and implement effective technology solutions.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering or information technology.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Over 3 years of experience in IT projects related to software development within Technology or Consulting firms, or IT departments.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies (such as .NET, SQL Server, Azure DevOps), web development (Java, REST APIs), and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
