We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team at Media.Monks. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for implementing and improving administrative and technical controls of our Information Security Management System.
Key Responsibilities- Implement Global ISMS: Contribute to the implementation of our global Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 standards.
- Evaluate Compliance: Evaluate the compliance status of processes and technology implementations and plan actions to align with our security framework.
- Risk Management: Identify risk related to information security in the technical environment, third-party relationships, and company context.
- Technical Controls: Understand technical and administrative controls in various areas, including networking, operations, access management, SSDLC, cloud security, endpoint protection, physical security, third-party risk assessment, organizational security, and legal compliance.
- Third-Party Liaison: Act as a point of contact for third-party questions regarding information security.
- Client Requirements: Analyze client requirements regarding information security and evaluate their accuracy. Follow up on actions needed to comply with those requirements.
- Security Threats: Identify security threats and risks over processes, conducts, technology, and context that may affect information confidentiality, integrity, or availability.
- Security Measures: Assist in the definition and construction of security measures to lower identified risks.
- Issue Resolution: Solve low-complexity issues independently with minimum supervision and escalate more complex issues to accurate staff.
- Awareness and Training: Contribute to the development of awareness material and the process of delivery and measurement.
- Compliance and Legislation: Perform routine activities to ensure compliance with security frameworks and legislation.
- Technology Research: Investigate technologies that could improve the security baseline and compliance (e.g., DLP, endpoint protection, network security, security and vulnerability assessment).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer, or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in related positions.
- Security Knowledge: Solid knowledge of security on networking, cloud, infrastructure configuration, endpoint protection, and SDLC.
- Standards and Certifications: Knowledge of the standards ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, NIST 800.
- Experience: +2 years of experience in Security Risk Management, Information Security, Security controls, or Security/IT Audit.
- Certifications: Information Security Certification (e.g., CISSP, Comptia Sec, CISM, CRISC, etc).
