Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our GTM analytics COE team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are operating at peak performance. You will collaborate across teams on various projects, investigate and resolve technical issues, and provide L2 support to users with technical issues or questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform server administration activities, security permissions, group policies.
- Build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Perform regular system maintenance backups, upgrades, and audits.
- Implement and manage security or integrity and backup procedures in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and come up with solutions.
- Develop libraries and scripts to automate platform environment deployments and backups.
- Develop and maintain code libraries, plugins that help automate engineering workloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with AWS Services (IAM, KMS, S3, Glue, EC2).
- Experience working with IaC technologies such as Terraform.
- Proficient in coding using technologies like pySpark, Python, SQL.
- Knowledge of working with Jira and Jira Service Desk is welcomed.
- Understanding of Big Data technologies like Hive, Hadoop, Spark is an advantage.
- Experience working with DataIku DSS or Databricks platform is an advantage.
