Job Title: FPA Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled FPA Manager to join our team at Smartcat. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in building and shaping our financial planning and analysis function from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and enhance FPA processes, systems, and tools to support strategic and operational planning.
  • Oversee the month-end close process, including data gathering, posting revenue/cost accruals, and presenting key results to the Executive team.
  • Drive the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes in collaboration with the Executive team and Finance team.
  • Provide analytical support to the Finance team and other business stakeholders, addressing ad hoc requests and delivering actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Data team to build finance KPIs infrastructure for better decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of financial analysts, prioritizing workloads and ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in management accounting and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, management accounting, and budgeting processes.
