Job Summary:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a critical role in driving business growth and decision-making at Avita Medical. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial financial analysis, providing data-driven insights to support business strategy, and managing all data and dissemination of commercial results across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive budget model from the ground up, incorporating financial planning and analysis best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and roll out planning and forecasting data in the planning software, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
  • Perform and oversee financial analytics and variance explanations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, providing actionable insights to support business growth.
  • Meet with business stakeholders to discuss variances related to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Forecast, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Build and improve analytical models that are dynamic in nature, leveraging data to inform business strategy and drive growth.
  • Support the development of Capex planning and Cashflow modeling, ensuring accurate and timely financial planning.
  • Assist with systems integration and upgrades related to planning, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, with a focus on forecast modeling for a manufacturing-based business model.
  • Familiarity with Adaptive Planning and strong Excel skills, with the ability to work in a self-managed environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and effective communication.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data volumes.
