Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Abap Developer with Fiori expertise to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Digitalization of Production & Technology department, you will be responsible for developing and managing our Non-Conformance Management solution, which is based on SAP R/3 and S/4. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing technical enhancements and new applications for BASF NCM processes
- Developing stable and supportable solutions using state-of-the-art programming methods
- Ensuring integration with other SAP and non-SAP applications using modern interface architecture
You will work closely with solutions consultants and divisions to further improve our NCM solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of SAP object-oriented programming, CDS views, and CDS Annotations to drive innovation and efficiency in our development projects.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Proficient knowledge of ABAP, OData, and API Management
- Extensive experience in SAP object-oriented programming and database normalization
- Familiarity with S4Hana On-Premise and/or Cloud, abapGit, Adobe Forms, and Smart Forms
- Strong understanding of scalable and maintainable architecture concepts and patterns
- Experience in unit testing and agile delivery methods such as Scrum
A strong focus on innovation, motivation, and excellent communication skills in English are also essential for success in this role.
